It’s not perfect, but there were a lot of things that I had never done before as I was sewing. It was not a pattern for beginners. It looks ok, but I notice all the wrong things.

How’s the progress on your apron coming along?

There’s an apron in my future; I just don’t know yet what it’ll look like. There’s several I want to make, but I haven’t decided. Recently I bought this pattern from Joann’s when they had their Simplicity pattern sale: Misses Wrap Around Apron. But then I have The Apron Book, which has some cute ideas in it.
I know. I’m making this more complicated than it needs to be. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get something decided so I can get started.
I cut out my pattern and my fabric. Tomorrow I’ll doing the sewing marks and sew it. I will probably have a finished apron tomorrow night.
Go me.
Is it sad that I’m already looking at the patterns and fabric in my stash and trying to decided which other aprons I want to make.
Have a great one!

According to West Coast Time (oh, ok, Pacific time), it will be February 1st in six hours. As much as I’d like to stay up and watch the day change, I won’t. I’m going to be asleep.
I will be sewing my apron this month. I found this apron pattern posted on another message board. She made the black multi colored one on the bottom and it was just so stinking cute. I ran to Joanns and bought myself this fabric for the body and some solid red for the ties and detailing. I am so excited to cut it out and start making it.
In addition to that apron for me, I would also like to make some aprons for my boys, either for Easter gifts or Christmas gifts.
Glad you came and joined us! I look forward to seeing what you create!
